Question: Transducer mount on Ultrex

I just bought an ultrex with the standard sonar (not mega) and have a older humminbird that will work well with it. I would like to add a Helix 7 mega DI unit also. Is there room on the ultrex motor to mount the Mega DI transducer? Has anyone done this yet? Thanks.

I have a Humminbird MEGA DI+ transducer on the bottom of my Ultrex 24 V motor and there is plenty of room for the longer SI+ transducer. I have both but use the DI+ with the MEGA 360.

BTW, the Helix 7 MEGA DI transducer is about 1/2 the length of the DI+ transducer.

There are three built-in transducers.

MDI===Humminbird units only
MSI===Humminbird units only
US2===any brand that has 83/200 kHz for 2D sonar and ONLY 2D sonar.
