Treasure Lake Cuba
Any where in the Caribbean to get bonefish, permit, and tarpon on the fly. Last trip to Belize I missed getting my slam by not landing a tarpon. After I got my permit, already had caught a bunch of bones, we went hunting for tarpon. Jumped a few and hooked up pretty good on one but didn't get it landed before throwing the fly.

New Zealand or Patagonia.
Mill Creek Reservoir, central VA. Circa 1990 to 1992. With my dad. I'd pay any amount to make that happen.
Been twice for peacocks. Would go again in a second. The top water explosions are amazing. The whole “raw nature” experience is something to be experienced. An amazing place. It was also great that we’re handed an ice cold cocktail the moment we stepped off of the small boat onto the mother ship, along with an open bar. Good times. My brother in law and I caught 1147 peacocks in 6 and half days of fishing. Most were 2-4 lbs but there were plenty of 5-12’s. Biggest was a 16. Powerful beasts above 7lbs. You catch other species as well. You won’t regret it. Go during the dry season/low water. I suggest Acute angling for your outfitter. And try to schedule when the owner Paul Reiss goes. He is one of five PhD’s in the world that has studied them for 20+ years. Gives seminars on the boat after dinners. Wish this COVID garbage was over.
