    Lake blackshear.

I’m looking to get away for a few day’s in October and thinking of fishing lake blackshear. 7I have never been but looks nice on google earth. Will be bringing wife and boat. Is there nice accommodations close to ramp and how will bass fishing be at that time of year? I fish the St. John’s river and Kissimmee chain and Harris chain often and would be willing to trade info if anyone is interested. Thanks.

I haven't been there in a while, but at the time you could stay at Veteran's park, where there is a ramp.
Be careful in the lake itself as it has unmarked standing timber in areas.

Thanks hammer. We are trying to stay within a 4hr drive. May head to Eufaula. I haven’t been there in 6-7 years.

    Blackshear is down 5'? Dang.

I was supposed to fish the GA BASS Nation State derby at Seminole this weekend, but got bumped when a co-angler had to drop out (Covid).

Was thinking Blackshear for the weekend, but now I'm leaning towards Eufaula

Blackshear will be dropped in November for dock work. Lake is at pretty much normal level.

Sorry I meant Eufaula is 5 feet low. Fish seem to be biting(not for me). Took 38 to win two day super tournament last weekend.
