    stratos metal flake help

Trying to find matching metal flake color for a 2006 294 pro xl to do some minor gel coat repair. Boat is "Navy/Silver", but with no more Stratos finding THE correct blue is a bigger challenge than i thought. Any suggestions on where to find exact color? I think I have a silver that will work but the blue is still a mystery. if anyone knows color names or numbers from 2006, that might be helpful for my search. Got samples from one website, but the blues just don't match my boat. Any help would be awesome.
    thanks

Send a pic... I think I have a few old boat flyers that may have the color selections in it...

make sure you get the right size flake. Most likely will be either .008 or .015. Alot of times they'll mix different sizes to come up with their special blend. Can be a real pita to match some of the older boats.

You can try ranger. Before Scott left the parts Department he was able to get my color size flakes and gel coat kits for me.

Not sure why upside down but if yo click to enlarge its correct. The navy blue is what I'm struggling with finding a match. Want to shine it up a little in hopes of upgrading next year. Thanks

I don't think these are a match, your boat looks to have less of a "flake" appearance to it...

i bought the 1st one already and the pic isn't close to what it really looked like. I even requested another sample since i thought they shipped me the wrong one, but sample matched the bag and was way too teal. I also pulled 3 other "blue" samples from GLS and none are real close. The 2nd one you attached might be worth a sample. Its "darker" which might align better with my boat. Thanks for the suggestions.

I’ll see if I can’t get you a number for the flake tomorrow.

GLS has a champion blue called "midnight blue" that might be right, but the pictures and the actual flake aren't necessarily same ive learned. Was Champion and Stratos related at all in 2006 where color names would have been same?

I bought this set of chips years ago and for matching flake it has come in very handy.
