    819-pro

Just wondering about anyone’s experiences with the 819 pro model. I don’t see a lot posted about it. I believe it’s a newer model tough. Thanks

819 has been around for a while its the same boat as the 919 pro xp just doesn't have the same standard feature and the 225hp. It's a great great boat though will still run with a 200hp. My buddy is getting ready to order one.

when 819 came out it had a single axle and 200hp on it. I think that had many guys wanting the 919.

not the same. 819 has the wide deck

OP - I love mine. Not much to complain about. Runs mid 60’s loaded in summer and upper 60’s in the winter. Seen 72 twice. Fishes great and is very stable.

Mine is four years old - fished local lakes, the Ohio River, Ky Lake, Chic, G-ville, Okeechobee all with no issues. Rides great, plenty of room to fish. Even with 2 8' power poles and my 240 pound partner it still runs 60 mph.

Mine will run 68 mph with me and partner and my compartments full to the lids. My partner calls my boat the Phoenix tackle shop. I've had the boat 4 yrs and not a single problem with boat or trailer.

I've got a '18 819 Pro. It's wider than the old 619. As others have mentioned it's the same boat as the 919 less 25 HP and a few other trinkets.

I do 70.5-71.5 GPS with just me and a full tank gas, tournament load. With partner I still touch over 70 in the cooler months loaded. Pass plenty of 250 HP Nitro, Ranger rigs.

Great riding boat, you will not be disappointed.

I’m running a 24p fury but that probably won’t help you since mine is a 2s. I have Atlas jp so I’m not sure p2p.

For those of you with the 819 or 919, do you have any issues with rods on the deck and a coangler?
I too am looking at an 819, but a bit concerned about how far my rods may over hang the deck.

This was a huge concern for me before i got mine. I have an older father who isn’t very balanced and with the rods sticking so far over i was scared he would stumble getting up and break one. It has not been a problem though. The rods are normally angled towards the side of the boat so they hang over the coanglers rods and not in the cockpit area. I also ordered my boat with the 2nd set of rod straps which moves the rods farther forward and leaves less hanging off the deck.

I have the second console but don't have it in all the time. But I've taken the ledge part, along the gunnel, off of the console and mount that without the console. Gives you a shelf for the rod tips. But in rough water the rods slide a little. You can add a second cord up front mounted right below the reels. This will stop the rods from sliding off the deck. Also consider putting your longer rods on the starboard side of the deck.
