    Ranger 521L with SHO

Looking for someone who has a 2018 521L with a SHO. Still trying to get mine dialed in. I know it’s not a fast boat but I’m just trying to get 65 mph with full tournament load and two people. I’m curious about prop selection and weight distribution within the boat.

currently running a 24P VMax SHO prop, turning 5700 rpm and running 63 fully loaded. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance!

Probably set to low. That should run 68 mph all day long. I have a Pro XS 2 stroke on a C boat and 68-69 is easy with 70+ in the cooler weather. Your 4 stroke should not be effected by the heat.

ran in 2 different 521L boats both with G2s 70 and 72... boat should be high 60s if not 70 all day long with the SHO. Dont settle for 65
