Had a club tournament today and it kicked our butts. Ours as in everyone. I won with 4 bass 4 pounds. Only 1 keeper Smallmouth was weighed and it was a skeleton at 2.25lbs. We go to Dale Hollow next and I am afraid the same will happen.

Depends on how long the fuse is or how good your water proof container is. Pretty deep if u are good.

A buddy of mine that lives in Knoxville told me yesterday that the lakes there were the same way.

I’d definitely go somewhere else. It usually doesn’t get decent until around thanksgiving. Plus there’s a college tournament starting Thursday out of the dam. 250 boats.

BASS has a College event October 1-3, High School event on the 4th as well as a Junior event on the 4th...they picked one of the toughest times of the year to hold three events right on top of each other. There will be lots of zeros in the weight column.

I didn’t watch the weigh in wonder if they changed the size limits for the tournament this week?

12' on a spotted bass...man that's a huge spot... 12" on Largemouth and smallmouth. The High School and Junior event also has the same size limit...short largemouth and short smallmouth. Looking at the pictures posted from day one I saw several under size fish per what the state regulations are normally. The weight numbers would be lower had they not allowed short fish to be brought to the scales...Thank You KDFW for selling our natural resource to BASS for Tourism money.

Agreed weights would be at least half if they kept state regulations.

Don't understand the state lowering the reg length. If they can't catch 15 inch bass they shouldn't have the tournament at the toughest time of the year to catch them.

Ever since FLW came to town they’ve got exactly what they wanted. I’ve stated it before & will again if they can’t go by the regulations we all do every day then have their tournaments somewhere else.
