    Networking dual units on bow

    Have a mega 360 and MDI on my ultrex. Got a new helix 12 MDI g3n for the mega 360 and sold my helix 12 MDI and helix 12 that I had on the console. I’ve wired boat for 4 units networked. Question is can I get a splitter for the mega 360 and MDI on ultrex plug into my helix 12 MDI g3n networked to a non mega on on the bow. And read the MDI on the non mega unit? Just seeing if I can save a bit of money or even just buy a helix 12g2n or g3n that non mega... since no one has the mega in stock.

    The MEGA 360 is supported by a G3N SI+ or DI+ unit.
    It can be shared to any other G3N and also to G2N models via Ethernet.
    SI, DI, 2D, Temp and GPS can be shared between G2N and G3N models.

    Yes you can connect the MEGA 360 and the Minnkota MDI transducer to the G3N MDI+ unit via Y cable.
    Both the Minnkota MDI and MEGA 360 have the SOLIX 14 pin plugs so you have several ways to do that connection to the display.

    The shortest way is the 9 M360 2DDI Y cable and a Minnkota MKR-MI-1 connected to the Minnkota MDI transducer and that adapter connected to the Y cable==10'.

    Next shortest way is the 14 M360 2DDI Y cable connected to the MEGA 360 and Minnkota MDI transducer, then the Y cable converted to 7-pin via Minnkota MKR-MI-1 adapter==13'.

    Longest way is the 14 M360 2DDI Y cable connected to the MEGA 360 and Minnkota MDI transducer, and then use the included 10' 14-pin to 7-pin adapter==20'

    Very longest way is the 14 M360 2DDI Y cable connected to the MEGA 360 and Minnkota MDI transducer, the included 10' 14-pin extension cable connected to the Y cable and then the included 10' 14-pin to 7-pin adapter to that==30'

    G2N SI units in the 9, 10, and 12" are MEGA SI.
    G2N has a MEGA DI model and a DI model.

    Both the G3N and G2N have a CHIRP model==2D only==no MEGA anything.

    Both the G2N and G3N have to have at least 2.180 software to support or view the MEGA 360.
