How many of y'all have installed a trolling motor recess pedal in your tracker? Mine is a 2001 Pro 165 and I want to do it. Is there any bracing under the front I need to be aware of?

Mine came installed in glass boats I would open the front access panel and use a cell phone to take a picture of the underside to see what was there before cutting.
I installed mine without any problems with bracing. Mine is a 2009 though.

I have the same exact boat 01 pt165 I will be installing a recessed tray this winter. I've had my deck off before and I'm 99% certain theirs no brace in the way. Even if there is your not going to remove enough to hurt anything
