    Original 360

So I have a couple gen1 helix10 si gps and a garmin 93sv+ with original panoptix. I’ve been really considering a 360 to go along with the panoptix. But I’m stuck with the original 360 being my unit won’t work with mega, anyone got input? worth it or should I just hold out and upgrade to livescope for my garmin? How is the original 360? I just don’t want to waste 5 or 600 on one. Thanks

IMHO . Better to have then not. I can only speak of the 1st gen. Sometimes you won’t see fish but you’ll see the structure. Sometimes you will hardly see the structure but you’ll see schools of fish. There are many things that influence what you see including bottom hardness, terrain and such. All that being said when the stars are aligned and your in the right spot!!!!! I’ve had days( more often then not) I can watch the schools of bass moving in and out with the bait they are chasing. I have also watched the bass and striper just ripping into the bait . Best part was you could not see it on the surface. It was just as calm as could be. To me 360 is like a tool in the toolbox. . I love my 360 and have learned to use it very proficiently. When this one dies I’ll get a mega as I am already set up for it. To me why fix what works.
