    Melvern

Anybody fished there lately? Going there on Sunday and it has been since May last time I was there.

If it's fishing like most lakes around here currently.. you're gunna need a ton of luck.

Clinton's wiper game has been on, but everywhere else/everything else is slow at best.. They aren't in summer pattern/location anymore, and haven't transitioned to fall yet.

Joel I have never been on Melvern, If I were going I would try to find banks and areas similar to Wilson and start there, you're a lot better fisherman than I am so you'll catch a bunch

John, thanks for the vote of confidence. You should come try it out sometime. Earlier this year I had almost 15#s in five fish and the next weekend could not even catch five. It is a very hit and miss lake for me.

Drum, walleye and one keeper largemouth. Caught lots of short fish. Kid with me caught a 3# smalmouth and a 15" spot. Everything was on crankbait or wopperplopper. Storm front moved in around noon and it really sucked after that.
