    Toledo no grass

I saw them spraying in a fan boat a couple weeks ago on the north end. When this lake had grass it was one of the best lakes in the country but now it’s one of the toughest body of waters to fish. No grass no bass my opinion

Are they spraying for Grass or Salvania. Obviously they kill both.

Can't blame them for trying to control Salvania.

But it kills the grass also.
    Toledo needs drastic changes.

I agree! Every time we get a big rain salvania comes in down the Sabine which I don’t believe spraying helps. I’m no biologist but if they are going to spray maybe they should start at the source instead of dumping it in the lake. I have a friend with a video of them spraying in open water with no salvania around.

It pours in from the patroon creek also. A boom across it for a few days and a few good sprays would do way more than spraying hundreds of gallons of chemicals once it spreads out everywhere in little patches here and there.

Who was spraying the chemicals? The reason that I asked, contracted companies could be paid by the amount of product that is dispersed. Just saying

Wonder what the long term health effects are for the people swimming, eating fish and drinking the water from TB

Seems like there are better solutions than just killing all vegetation

Few years back Toledo was ranked as one of the top lakes in the country with 30 lb sacks every week. 15 lbs now days you probably won if not your getting a check. If the lake would ever come back maybe The elites would come back
