    Boat bounce when trailering

Does anyone know how to get the front end of the boat to stop bouncing when trailering down a wavy road? Seems like it can't be good to be bouncing like that on the bow roller and eye hook. I have a 2008 2100 btw.

If you're boat is loaded and tied down on the trailer properly, it should follow the movement of the trailer and should not bounce.

Make sure the winch strap is under the bow roller and install one of the attached.

The bouncing happens even when properly loaded and secured. The tie down looks like the ticket. Thanks.......

Never trust your bow to just the winch strap, always have a 'belt-and-suspenders'approach with another strap or a chain. m

ps - as a last resort, run a ratchet strap midships from one side to the other. It may look like hell but may keep the center of the boat in contact with the bunks. m

My 20' Intimidator does the same thing. If I hit a bump in the road the front of the boat comes 6" up off the trailer. Gonna check the boat in the morning and see which way my strap goes. I know I always crank it all the way to the bow hook, but not sure if its above or below the roller.
