    jack plate bolts?

Are there different grades of S/S bolts I need to get a set that is a bit longer because I got some 5 degree wedges and a emergency ladder so the current ones are too short the ones that have been there for probably since about 1997 or so came from the industrial fastener place here in town never thought of that back then?

I got away from using stainless steel because they seize up really bad (even using anti seize). I started using Cadmium coated grade 8 bolts and they work great. Been using them for about 10 years now. You can buy them at Lowes and they are half the price of stainless and much stronger. I think a stainless bolt is ~grade 5.

I agree with the grade 8 bolts way better than the stainless.

If you use a different alloy nut they won't seize up nearly as bad.

Exactly, I used to do that also. I just went to the cadmium coated, just a personal preference.
