Need help finding the right prop

I've just purchased a 2005 225 mercury Optima for my 93 20xd, had a 200 efi on it before. My rpms are too high even loaded with 2 people tourny ready,i borrowed a trophy 26 pitch from a friend, running short straight stretch still hitting 6000 rpm and rising and alarm goes off, I'm guessing rev alarm??, I cant see how much over itll get to get the right pitch, want to find one where I can run wot even with just me and upper rpm with 2 tourny ready, and I didnt gain any speed really since gear ratio is lower than the 200 efi, so do I need to go with 3 blade with more pitch to get my speed back. Anyone have same setup, any help!! alot of money just to guess and not be right

28 Bravo xs is a very popular 4 blade that you should be able to find one to borrow and try it.

Thank you I would def have to go to a 28 or 29 4 blade, I tried a bigger diameter 3 blade fury 26 pitch yestrday , it was better but top end isnt what I thought it would be and still reached rev limiter by muself

28 hydro xob is what I ran on a 225 pro xs and a 20 CD. Worked great especially with a coned lower. And 1.25 -1.5 above the pad.

    Im

I'm a toter driver for clayton connect. I usually haul out of Rutledge but every now and then we haul from other plants. I've never hauled out of the norris plant but I have brought some frames back to them.
