    Ranger 397XT Set Up

    I have a 1997 Ranger 397XT with a 150efi.
    Current Info:
    25p High Five Prop
    Rpm 6000 wot.
    50.3 mph at wot.
    3 3/4” below the pad.
    no jack plate.

    I need to purchase a spare prop or new prop.
    I am looking for more speed possibly.

    If your really turning 6000 rpms your mounted too high and probably need to go down one mounting hole to 4.25 under with a 21" tempest. Your tach is probably off since that motor is only rated at 5600 rpm's.
