LOL... actually they fared well once they played the backup players. They held in the second half with two 4th down stops and a fumble recovery.
The Citadel has no chance against that caliber of program. Heck anyone on Clemson's third string would be a starter at El Cid.
That bank account got a $450k fatter after Saturday though. A game like that each season funds a big part of the program annually.
