Fortrex squeal?

i have a fortrex 80lb that just started to make a squealing sound when at about 50% and higher power setting. The TM is about 10 years old has been beatup and put away wet. It gets heavy usage fishing the slop in weed infested lakes where the power settings are in the upper 75% range constantly. I have checked around prop shaft and its clean. Any ideas?

A bent shear pin, water in lower unit that has caused rust, front armature bearing are common problems that cause that issue.

My money is with John. Likely water intrusion.
