Went out for a couple of hours this evening and caught this on a KVD 1.5. She went straight to the bottom and pulled a lot of drag! Ended up taking about 15 minutes to get her in. Didn't even get any slime in the boat! Tough to do by yourself. I'm 6'4" for reference. I would estimate about 30 lbs. but I don't catch many catfish!

Looks bigger than that to me. I caught a 25 pound blue which is my biggest cat and I do not think it looked that big. Great photography skills if you were by yourself.
I didn't want to overestimate and get crucified on here! I think it was bigger than 30 but I don't know and yes I was by myself!

Nice!I bet it was closer to 35 lbs. than 30 lbs. My biggest cat was 20 lbs....umpteen years ago. Yours is way bigger.

I catch one or two flathead a year while bass fishing and it it always around this time of year. Haven't caught any that big however.

That’s some good eating right there. We had a 2 man limit of crappie and my buddy caught one. He was happier about the cat than all the crappie.
