I have a portable 2 tank compressor (4gal.) that takes for ever to fill trailer tires. Works fine on nail guns but not on tires. Need a larger volume tank for tires.

Consider the power you have available for the compressor you want. I had to go with a smaller compressor since I only had a 15A circuit available.

This went into my decision as well. I only had a standard plug at the boat storage...

I second this. I keep one in my car and one at the deer lease. Never used the car one but the deer lease one gets used a ton of use.

I have the Craftsman pictured above. It has worked flawlessly for the last 35 years. I’ll make you a killer deal on it. I have several others.

I have the Ridgid 6-gal like Tom B posted above. I picked it up a couple of years ago on sale at HomeDepot. Great compressor - works great for airing up tires, brad nailer/stapler, air ratchet, and airbrush painting.

Not a Craftsman. I'm on my third, 3 gal pancake compressor and the one I have now is acting up. They really don't get much use either as I have a big Kobalt but I keep having to take them back after about a year. Honestly I would probably buy one from Harbour Freight.
