Replaced fuel line and now motor won’t start

2005 115 Optimax. Replaced fuel line from bulb to the line coming from the motor. Started motor using rabbit ears in the driveway. Went to the lake and launched. Started right up and i let it warm up. Ran up the lake 1/4 mile and engine shut down. Checked fuel line and bulb was soft. Was able to pump the bulb up but engine will not start. I was able to use the trolling motor to get back to the ramp. Do I need to somehow bleed the line and if so how? Any ideas on what I should do? Thanks guys.

There is a liner in the fuel hose, check your connections to make sure you didn't pull the liner away and create an obstruction.

Also check your BATTERY to make sure it is fully charged (if you discharged it trying to crank with no fuel, it may have been too low to keep the critical electronics live after you pumped fuel back to it).

You nailed it silverfox579! The liner was obstructing fuel flow. Redid the connections and problem solved! That liner was bent. Appreciate your help!
