    Test drove a 19 today

I have been wanting to get a look at one of these and overall was really impressed. The size of the boat is perfect for me. It had a ProXs 225 and I think it had a Fury on it. I was more interested in the ride than looking at prop and pitch. Today was a good day to test drive with 15-25 mph winds and really nice chop/rollers on the water. The boat rides great and has a nice soft ride. The hole shot was a little slower than I expected but the boat hasn't been tweaked either. I did hit 72 without much problem on the second pass. There is a little more in it but we had some issues with the hotfoot and couldn't really safely stay in it like I wanted to with the hotfoot issue. I think with just me in the boat and my fishing gear, a full tank of gas and live wells it should be a solid 72-75 mph boat. I just wish it was around $5000-$7000 less in price. It definitely gets a thumbs up!

I believe this one was 62-63k. I believe it had HDS 9s and also had the lowrance ghost TM.

That 19' is a BIG 19, the front deck was massive! As I stated previously that blue/grey 19 I looked at was really sharp. That price though,,, ouch! I would say you could rig an identical 19trx for $3000 less. The quality/finish on the caymas is a little better but just a little. It all boils down to what you want and what you are willing to pay. But it sounds like you liked it!
