    Dek It Bow Mount install

I am going to have a Comfort Troll pedal tray and a Dek It bow mount installed. Any suggestions on mounting the Dek It bracket to the deck? Thanks!

Used self tapping stainless bolts on mine. Place the Dek-It where you want it and drill some small starter holes. Holds the mount really well.

What length bolts did you end up using?

I mounted mine using stainless machine screws with nylock nuts on the underside, which I was able to get through the bow panel.

+1 If you can access underneath definitely use a decent flat fender washer and nylock nuts. Do it once and be done,

This is how I mounted mine, Allen head security screws With lock nuts under the deck. I also drilled a hole through the gimble and Bow mount and installed a small padlock. With that and the Elocks, I don’t worry about thieves.

Not the best picture but I installed this one on my Stratos when I replaced my carpet. I used #12 SS wood screws. If that mount gets ripped off the front deck then I am in serious trouble..
