A friend of mine was asking me if these will be able to network. (Helix 9 G1 and Helix 7 Mega G3 ) I told him no because the Helix 7 is non network. Can these units run off the same transducer ???

No, the Helix 7 has to be the G3N to share any data.
AND a G1 will not share CHIRP from a CHIRP model or the HW frequency or the MEGA frequency.
