    Lowrance Ghost Trolling Motor

Does the Ghost come with a prop ? I'm getting ready to pre order a 52 in shaft model and it lists a prop as an accessory?

Yes, comes with a prop. Give Jones Trolling Motor a call and they will make sure you get all you need to get fishing.

Nobody has the 52" for sale yet; I understand it will become available in December.

Do yourself a favor and order a spare prop when you order your trolling motor. The prop material is a very hard plastic that doesn't handle contacting rocks well.

    USA Ghost Prop Repair

I managed to hit a hard rock bottom with my Ghost prop, and broke the tips off of both sides of the prop. Just to see if I could repair it, I used some JB Weld epoxy putty and built up the tips of the prop, and then sanded it into shape. It was really easy to do, and to my pleasant surprise it worked perfectly. I have used my rebuilt prop on a half dozen trips, at all speeds, and it has held up and balance seems perfect. Just an FYI if anyone breaks off the tips of their prop...here is a picture before painting. After painted gloss black it looks like new.

Yeah good luck finding that 52" GHOST. I've been waiting a YEAR for it to come out. SMH

One big "tackle" provider showed it coming Sept 21st, which has since been updated to Oct 25th. They're more than happy to take your money now for it though.

I've been assured by more than one board sponsor here that we MIGHT see it in December. Great... just great.
