Really good looking images.
If I was to nitpick id like to see fish in the water column appear a bit brighter.
I wonder, does one need an 8600 series to get these quality shots?
.
I know some of the members on here are saying they’re getting clean pictures with the Ultras but I haven’t seen any posted on here.
Looks good
A buddy I spent a lot time fishing with has full 4-8612 setup with livescope and same transducers as in these videos and the images are that detailed and super clear. I bought a 1242XSV for a dedicated livescope setup (since everything else is Lowrance) which is not the same resolution as the 8600 series and it is a little disappointing. Guess if you want the perfect image you gotta shell out the extra $2k for the 8600 line.
Are these videos from recording on the unit taken with the Garmin unit or taken from an outside source such as a i phone. Trying to get some recordings from side vu through the 93 sv plus but they are not looking very good when opened in Home Port, Thanks for any advice.

Everything is done from an iPhone (new SE) via ActiveCaptain the recording the downloading to YouTube and the uploading to this site. No computer or sd card involved. Pretty simple even a tech challenged old goat like myself kinda figured it out.
