    What’s this clutter?

What am I seeing here? It’s just started showing up recently? Is it just the thermocline? Am I just too shallow to get good image?

    Adjust your sensitivity and contrast.

Kick the contrast up or the sensitivity down. Id start with the contrast.

That is plankton, etc., in the water column. I like to see some of it, to know I have my sensitivity high enough to see as much detail as is possible.

Using dynamic contrast will help a lot with it. It’s the beginning of the thermocline starting to break up.mega is finicky in the respect it picks up everything in the water.

I messed with contrast and sensitivity to no avail. It was clear until the last week or two so I thought it may be thermocline.

I'm not sure, seemed strange to me too, but I don't understand why it wasn't there 2 weeks ago and now all of a sudden its always on my screen. I would love to have my clear images back again.

do you have grass in your lake? I doubt it grew that much over the span of 2 weeks but its a possibility. Also check to make sure you are getting good voltage to your unit. its amazing how much that can affect the image

Doesn't really matter in four foot ;)
Does it do it in deeper water?
    Water temp?
Are you fishing different time of day than you were?
I would say a water changing issue.
In Virginia our thermocline has gone from a summer 12' to about 18' now. Has not turned over yet.
