2016 Z521c 250 G2 prop testing

Finally settled on a prop. This weekend with a tournament load/partner(his bag of tackle)(HVY), just over half tank of gas(.60), 12' talons, Ultrex, limit of fish, i'm 230#. This was at sea level( Ca Delta). Managed to get 70.1mph. Good holeshot, tight cornering. Evinrude RX4 25p. It ran at 5630 rpm.

i tried a Raker2 26p(68mph) not as good handling. I also tried a RX4 24p(67 mph) gripped the water!

Never tried the Fury 4. i hear this is a great prop for Merc xs 250.

Nice report. That’s a good setup and result for a heavily loaded Z521.
