standing in the fire at tuckertown

if you got what it takes.. i seriously dout few of you are crazy enough to stand in the fire of twin turbines spinning.
if you own a very manuverable boat -not a 21 footer that handles like a city bus- you too can fish here.. btw i hit a boulder with the troller that got me a bit off balance..oh yeah troller was on HIGH ya think?...

i got into them big time before i started shooting video i was much closer to the turbines then...

Re: standing in the fire at tuckertown (BuzzB8)

I must be crazy cause I have been in the mouth of the fire plenty of times. Been up there in a 14 ft john boat and as big as a 19 skiff. When we needed shad for cat fishing or stripper fishing at badin that's where we went. When all 3 turbines are running there is a bowl that's about 3 foot deep before you start into one of the three outlets. Well when you commit you better hit throttle to get out of the bowl or else.

The thing about fishing up there is if they are pulling water it's great if not sol. We where up there catching White bass almost every cast they stopped the wheels we never got another bite.

I guess a 5 pounder in zookers hand would look like a 6 pounder next to a pink spinnerbait.................................small
