    Throttle Cable

    Gentlemen, 2003 206 DCXL with 225 Evinrude HP, throttle cable is sticking, anybody know the length or model #. It has a foot throttle. Thanks in advance.

    Length and part number will be on the outer casing jacket. If you can't find it measure along the gunwale to the stern where it makes the turn to the slash well then from the splash well and then from there to the center of the motor. Add a foot and you should be good. When you pull it out, pull from the motor side, tie a pull cord from the hot foot side.
