SHO 200 Turns over but will not start, happening every so often now

Any one have this issue ?
Other than not firing up a few times the motor runs very well.
Just wondering what I should be looking into to fix this intermittent problem before I get stranded.

    Thanks for your input

I had an EFI motor that did the same. Turned out to be a weak battery. It turned over fine, but didn't have enough juice to run the engine electronics when they kicked in. You do need at least 1000 cranking amp battery for newer motors.

Interesting, thanks for sharing your insight.
    I'll be checking the battery.
I had a run down battery a few years ago , my humminbird units would turn off and the starter lagged but the motor always ignited quickly...

    Definitely not the battery.
It would not ignite Sunday morning so I gave the cowling a slap, must have shaken a loose sensor, and it was perfect for the rest of the day.
Unfortunately the marina's are super busy winterizing all the newly purchased watercraft.

I've seen several people have similar problem that turned out to be a loose main battery ground wire at engine on starboard side. It has to be really tight...like all battery connections.
