    Yamaha Tach Digital gauges

    Good evening,
I recently bought a boat with a 2010 Yamaha SHO 200hp. Engine runs great and all. I've been going night fishing the last couple of weeks. The boat has the Yamaha Tach digital gauges. For some reason the gauges dont turn on at night unless i press the set or mode buttons, but only for about 5 seconds. I want to be able to see the gauges turned on specially during night fishing when i start running the boat for trim, fuel, etc. Can anybody please help? I'm hoping Im just missing a step or setting to fully turn on the gauges. Thank you for your time.

I am guessing that you have a Command Link tachometer. The round version. If so, here is the procedure for adjusting the backlights.

Is your question now about the lights or not seeing a speedometer reading?

You only asked about the tachometer lights.

Adjust the tachometer and the lights in the speedometer should follow along.

What are you seeing for speed?
