    Lake Gaston/Buggs Island limits

VA fish and game says only 2 bass under 14in per person So that would lead me to believe that my son can have 2 and so can I, would that be correct?

I ask because team tournament say 2 total under 14in. Not per angler. I know that could be cause of other reasons ( only 1 angler on boat, etc.)

    Thanks

If you are weighing 5 fish as a team, sounds like only 2 can be under 14". If you are fishing individual ( 2 bags of 5 fish) from the info you gave each of you could weigh 2 under 14"

I have always believed only 2 per boat. But if fishing a tx if you have any under 14 there will be no check.

2 per person so technically in a team tournament you could have 4 12inchers

Also confirm the tournament regs, numerous tournaments on SML go with a 14” minimum to keep it simple.
