    Question on performance of Lowrance using the built in transducer on a Ultrex??

    I'm running a Lowrance HDS 8 Gen 2 up front, putting on a Ultrex and was wondering if there is a difference between the transducer on my unit now HST-WSBL compared to the built in US2 transducer on the motor. Just trying to cover all my bases before hand .

    I think it works just fine. Have been able to see my bait and fish and video game a few on 2D

    Just made the swap yesterday from using a HDI up front. Very happy with results video gaming 40-50fow, should of tried it sooner.

    I have an Elite TI2 on my ultrex. Works fine.
