Jordan Lake Boat Ramps?

I haven't fished Jordan Lake in about 10-15 years. Fish mainly Falls Lake and Shearon Harris. Have new boat docks been installed or upgraded at the Poe's Ridge ramps? Falls Lake boat ramps out of Upper Barton's were upgraded several years ago and they did a nice job. Time to fish. Thanks

I don't know what Poe's was like 10-15 years ago but today it is a large, 4 lane concrete ramp with a single pier down the left side that is to far from the ramp to step out of your boat onto from the trailer. Their is a courtesy dock near the ramp. I haven't used in a a long time but it looks like it may have been the same one in place 10 years ago.

I don't think Poe's ever closed. They also suspended the fee to launch there. Ebenezzer has been closed. I assume New Hope as well but do not know.

Poe's closed when all the ramps but Farrington were closed. But Poe's has been open for some time now.

Poes was closed for repaving about the time everthing else closed. Ebenezer has been closed since late march and they keep pushing back the opening date. New Hope and Seaforth are open as are Farrington and Robeson creek.

Someone told me that a boat ramp at Jordan was still closed about a week or so ago and that some people have been dumping their garbage up there at the closed ramp site in protest of the ramp not being open. Anything to this???

Yes. Jordan Lake website listing 10/23 as “tentative” reopening date. Fished there today and it looks like the courtesy docks are now back in place so maybe they will actually open it on 10/23.

I spoke to the park director last week, he said they are going to decide on the 23rd if and when they would reopen it!

According to a friend Ebeneezer is open now.

I stand corrected and apologize for the misinformation! Fished there over the weekend and it still looked closed. Just drove by it and it is in fact open!
