    Leg Room Ranger RT188 ??

Looking at 2017 RT188. I'm 6'4". Will I have any problems with leg room at drivers console?

I'm 6' and I have to put a 3" throw cushion behind my back.

I'm 6' 5" and have an RT 188. The leg room is ok, not great, but not terrible either. You are probably like me and used to things not being made for tall guys so you shouldn't have any problems. I have more issue with the bottom of the boat being tight. Throw a cooler and partner's gear down there and it can be hard for me to find a place to put my big foot to step down. Not deal breakers for sure, but if I could afford and store a bigger boat I'd get one.

At 6' 280 pounds it's one of the FEW boats in it's size that doesn't require a tilt wheel for me to be comfortable. This is the first boat in a LONG time I've had without a hot foot. I do wish they had put the shifter higher. Running at WOT the shifter hits my leg.

I am your size. I have not been in a lot of the boats out there recently as I was looking at them 4 years ago. What I noticed that almost all the tin boats are really not made for big guys. Ranger, tracker, crestliner, you name it.................you will fit and you will not be uncomfortable but there is not much extra wiggle room.
