Atlas jackplate won't move up or down

Is the switch the first place to check? First hydraulic jackplate and now the first problem.

Relays probably located in the battery compartment. Should be a green wire, blue wire and red wire off it. They go out quite a bit on other boats. I believe it’s a harness so you can’t just replace 1 relay. You will need to replace all of it. I’ve swapped it out once on a boat and it was pretty easy.

Don't think it is the relay. There is power going through the relay to the pump motor.

If power is making it to the motor then it's time to call th marine and see about a replacement.

Thanks, that was what I thought when it showed power coming through the relay. How hard is it too change?

Mine did this as well and I just left it because I had events coming and the height was pretty neutral so it could still be used. Was prefishing and ran to some shallow flats and came off pad and out of instinct I flipped the blinker to raise the motor and all the sudden it started to work again.......and then quit again...and now works just fine. So would this be the relays?

yes for sure. I just had a trim relay go out on my mercury and it would work fine for a day and then act up like crazy for a day then be fine for another day. I’m sure yours will go out again soon.

It's a relay. It has happened to me twice on two different Atlas plates

Just had that happen on my 2018 921. It was the relay. Atlas warranteed it for me, but it took awhile to replace it myself.

Try tapping the relay with a screwdriver handle and see if that unsticks it. Just happened to me. Warranty replacement is on the way. Tapping made the stuck one work. Might wait till it goes out entirely to swap in the new one.

Isn't the relay. The motor is burnt out.
