group 27 TM batteries

since it is end of season, I'm finding my options limited. I have pulled the existing batteries and I can fit group 31's. Sams had two of the group 31's last night in the AGM so I guess I go that direction. A bit overkill for my boat but only 32 lbs extra and on passenger side. The group 27 in the AGM only saves me 12# in total.

Cut the side of the battery trays out to allow for group 29,30,31's .... If the compartment has room. You will be buying extra years of service from the batteries as they wont get drained as far as a 27 series. The more you leave in the batteries between charges, The better. Deep discharges reduce lifecycles.
