    Hello new to forum 1988 201 f/s

just saying hello, reading and researching the welth of knowledge on here. I recently purchased a 1988 201 F/S with a 200gt. It was a one owner boat that was taken care of. I nust got it out of the shop (Tarver performance marine) to rebuild carbs and do a water pump, as they are the go to 2 stroke specialist around here. I just had boat buffed also, flake came out awesome but white still could use some more work. Running great was able to take it out yesterday and get 68mph out of the old antique on gps. Everything is original except new trolling motor. Even has the eagle1 fish finder that prints on paper like a heart monitor.I have never seen that and got a good laugh. Original interior vinyl is in good condition but may be redoing it here soon. Also the bronze windscreens show their age so i plasti dipped them but really want to buy new ones and have about 6 inches cut off the height. Other than that ill do something for a radio as its inoperable right now. And also some gauges as must work intermittently at best. As of now i got $4500 in boat which includes buff, shop bill and purchase price. I feal i got a great set up with all original paperwork and books and history from original person who ordered the boat 32 years ago.Anyways im just introducing myself and boat. Any advice in care or systems is welcomed.

I have to look in the garage, but I might actually have a pack (or maybe a 2 pack) of paper for your graph, if you want to have fun playing with it. Pm me your address, I'll let you know if I can find it. I'll trade it you for a couple packs of worms.

88 owners manual show the 24 gallon to be standard. I've got the optional 32 gallon tank in mine. there is also an option for an 18 gallon tank but it goes under the seat and you lose the under seat storage.

ChampioNman. My 89 201 SCR has the 32 gallon tank as well. I heard the optional 18 gallon tank was called the Great Lakes option.
