    New to me 2008 21xrd

I took delivery of a 2008 21xrd today and was wondering how you guys are mounting the bigger graphs at console. I'm putting a helix 10 on it. I appreciate any advice. I'm sure this is the first of many questions.

Check out BoatLogix. Luke has a couple of different mounts you can use to mount the bigger graphs to the console... Dan

This one fits over the helm assembly. He makes another that bolts to the top of the console that fits under the windshield. Both look very clean once they're mounted...

Thank you for the offer but I looked at the balzout mounts and ordered 1 today.

I'll post pics of mount before and after installation once I receive it.

My PC is down and I can't figure out how to post pics with my phone. If someone is willing to let me send them the pics of mount and post them for me I will.

This is the mount that the people at balzout Said was made for the bullet. I do like the amount but with a 6-in arm if I mounted it in the trough between the console and gunwale it would not have been flush with the fiberglass. If the mount was ordered with a 9-in arm it would probably work in the trough.

Looks like you could take the mid part of the mount off and flip it over then it would mount in the little area between the gunnel and the windshield.?

The arm isn't the problem. The base is very small amount to wide to fit in trough and be close enough with the 6 inch arm. The farther forward you go in the trough the wider it is. If the 9 inch arm is used you could slide the base towards the front of the boat some. I just didn't want anymore leverage on the base with a longer arm. Also if you look in one of the pictures I have the knob under the unit sitting on the gunwale. I put a rubber pad on that knob and if the water gets extremely rough I can run it like that so it has more support.
