Discoloration Issue

My allison has a slight discoloration on the sides.Top looks like new. Don't think it requires wet sanding but what/how should i clean it,polish, wax, or what?

Bud your post does not give much to work with, describe your concerns a little better. Pictures work even better. There are several knowledgeable members following these threads who can provide some direction for you.

Thanks rojogulo, took some pictures and they don't show the discoloration. The sides look kinda yellowish and you can see the bright white where the old registration numbers were taken off. I tried some polishing compound my bud told me to try and it worked very well just gonna take some time. Gotta get the right buffing pad for my buffer.

Toilet bowl cleaner??? Try a small area first and see if that makes a difference....
