You would need to provide the serial number of your engine for more help.

Better get an Insurance claim started, this won't be cheap.
Whoops. Serial number is 2B739255. I’ve heard you can get it repaired just like a damaged skegg. Any suggestions are appreciated
A buddy of mine had the same thing happen. Local guy welded it back up and looks factory

You will not want to weld on this component. The driveshaft housing will need to be REPLACED with new, OEM components. Anything less can have adverse affect on engine warranty claims in the future.Originally Posted by LOZPhoenix
