    This. My 05 250PDI always run great when I warm it up in gear.

    Myself and 2 friends all bought 05 225 HPDI new. I did every service necessary religiously as did my buddies. All of them blew before 500 hrs. Mine lasted the longest at something like 475 hrs. There was an early recall on the oil pump as a couple cylinders ran too lean if I recall correctly. Just my personal knowledge of them.

    I bailed -too risky -too much info out there to think I will not blow up a HPDI . Have a ox66 200 hp on current boat -heard they are WAY better -going to stick with old reliable !

    Ox66 efi are great motors.
