ZX 200 SHO set up and speed please help

Just purchased a 2018 200. Love it but not seeing the speed numbers most of you are posting. 7 dots, 23 T2, 2 people. I’m only seeing 64 mph. About 6000 rpm. 18-20 water pressure. I do have 1 extra battery with the 112 Ultrex and 1 power pole. Oh and about 80 degree water temp. Is that all I’m gonna get? I think I would be happy at about 66-67 mph. Can I do that with this set up? Center of prop about 1.5” below pad. I’m afraid if I raise it to get more rpm, I’m gonna be too high? And if I lower it, I may lose speed. Suggestions? Just don’t see how you guys are getting 70 mph stock out of box. Thanks

Same motor, but older hull...Honest numbers: With 22" Razor 4 prop, I get 68mph at 6000rpm. With 24" FXP, I get 71mph at 5900rpm (a 23" FXP would be better setup). Both props at 2"ptp and just myself in boat, no talons, 15-20 gallons gas.
By the way...the Razor 4 prop really "livened" up this boat, making it way more fun to drive...Although I lose a few mph from 3 blade, it's a better hole shot and does get to top end much quicker than the FXP.

Okay, just took ownership of my 2017 TZX 190 / 150SHO. Wow, didn't expect the impressive hole shooter top end speed during summer Alabama heat. 59.8 mph with Tull tank of gas and live wells going up river reservoir, Lay Lake Alabama. No current. On the way back 60.3 mph. I would have never thought such type of performance on a a 1725lb Bass Boat. Skeeter engineers did their homework. This boat is used and the prop less then perfect. Doing offseason I'll get it repaired. Couldn't be happier.

I had a 2014 Triton 18XS with a very powerful Evinrude Etec Gen1 (gray motor) and I'm a Etec fan, 58.8 and that boat weights 1600 lb range. The 150SHO and TZX hull is optimized to perform.

I have the same boat. Mine was at 7 dots and when I got it I got 67 once. Hated the ride in rough water so lowered to 6 dots. Now I’m seeing the same numbers. The boat is heavy so it’s not going to be real fast without some work. I’m fine with the speed I get because I would rather have a decent ride. In my opinion the older hulls and setup were better in rough water. My brother has a 2011 and the ride is way better.

2019 ZX200 with 200 SHO factory setup. 7 dots on jack plate 23 t2. With two guys tournament load it’ll do 68,just me and light load it’ll do 70. Got 73 once but that was running with the current in a river that was way above flood stage.

With that setup and two guys I'd say your about right. My '19 went 68 with two lighter guys, 1/2 tank of fuel, and dual poles.

Ran a 2021 ZX200 the other day with 23P T2 stock Prop and Jack-Plate Height 7 dots. 2 people (445lbs combined), Half tank of fuel, Livewells Full, bike seats boat gear boat cover in bow compartments.
67.2mph @ 6000rpms. I feel like these numbers are not bad but the boat had no lift and would almost wiggle at the top end from over trim but if you brought the trim back down dramatically loose speed.
