    18 Footer in 1984

Would an 84 model that was an 18 footer be a 184, or was that before that model was released?

If I'm not mistaken it would be a 18' Super V or Super V Fish & Ski if applicable.

    18 Super V with a healthy 175 is a fun boat.

Oh a 200 on the back would have been soooo much fun. Mine passed a lot of 200's and a few 225's nothing like seeing the look when they get passed by a 175. Oklahoma is one of those states that you can't over rate a boat but, you can own a boat that runs 100mph makes absolutely no sense.

Nephew is looking at a boat now that the power head has been replaced to a larger block. He asked me about the state and insurance I told him the motor is what the tag (serial number) on the mount says it is as far as anyone else needs to know.

yep- I briefly owned an 88 184 with a blown 150, replaced with a 200 powerhead. It was fun to see the looks on folks when they got passed-
