    1985 bullet 19vee questions

    I just recently purchased a beautiful restored 85 bullet 19vee with a 97 evinrude intruder 175 it’s got a 10in manual jack plate and a 25p trophy prop my question is what kind of speed should I see out of this boat I’ve got 63 but it starts chine walking super bad and have to ease off the gas anybody with some knowledge?

    I had an 87 with a 200 and a 26p Tempest. I got to 72 several times and still had pedal. I don't know how much pedal because it walked so bad at that speed I never gave it any more.
    Just remember to trim down before you throttle down and keep a clean pair of underwear with you. If you get that out of order it gets scary quick.

    Yea that thing shoulda ran low 80s I would think it’s only rated for a 175 and yea when it starts walking it gets scary fast haha

    I need some tips on what to do to manage it lol. I’m clueless to adjusting the jack plate someone help me haha
