I am also not Catholic but it is concerning to me the amount of division I am seeing in the Catholic church. It reminds me of what has happened to the United Methodist Church that I grew up in. There will undoubtedly be a split in that denomination after many years of turmoil. The Catholic church is by far the largest Christian denomination in the world and to see parts of them be of the world instead of in the world is not good for Christianity as a whole.
