    1.62 or 1.75

    New 250r . I can get either. Thoughts?
    Stroker / 250xs
    Triton 180 / 175 pro xs

    Unless something just changed the 250r is only available with 1.75 SM. Even if the 1.6 was available I’d recommend the 1.75.

    1.62 for play and top end but still fishes well. 1.75 will have a better all around performance fishing. Personally if I was doing a lot of running 1.62 but if not 1.75. Another question is what props do you currently own because that could help decide

    Yep, a 1.62 will give you a better selection of props.

    Unless I’m wrong it’s a 1.60 now. Also there has been a few issues with that gear set.

    There are a couple of 21ft allies/300Rs that have run both and have settled on the 1.75 gearing/sporty. They both run 100+.
