Z20 with all lithium batteries. Prop question

Has anyone upgraded to all lithium’s on a 250 pro XS 4s Z20? I curious what prop you went to. I’m guessing the 23p fury will not suffice. I’m guessing 24/25p fury. What kind of performance gain did you achieve? I’m going all lithium’s when trolling batteries die. Thx.

My z20 came factory with a 24p fury, and it’s definitely not lugging the motor. That’s with talons and 36v troller. I’d imagine with lithium’s you could go to a 25p.

less then a 150lbs might warrant +1 pitch. but nothing more. I'd guess more like .5 pitch.

Anyone tried spinning a 25p on a z20? I’m pretty happy with my 24p, I honestly don’t get the smooth water or lake size to really test out top end on my boat very often though.

Empty boat, with a 1/4 tank, in the fall, it would probably work. The rest of the year it would be a dog. There's a reason they don't give you a 25p on any of the new Nitros w/4S on them.

theres a guy on the FB nitro page that runs a 25p. Even has several videos of gps hitting 77-78mph with it. Don’t know if he is running lithium’s thou. I’ve chatted with him months ago. All his heavy weight is in rear of the boat. Has dual talons too.

Don’t have a Facebook, but that’s pretty interesting. Like I said I haven’t had many opportunities to really run mine top speed, but I think I may run out of rpms on my 24p at wot so I could see a 25p working with a light load.

I'd be surprised if you can over rev the 24p. The z21s run the 23p just fine. a 24 would be too much in my case. Suspect you will have a similar issue with the 25p

Run boat with a full load and when fuel tank down the amount of battery weight you might have a good idea of how the rpms wlll turn with lithium batteries installed.
Is you gas tank and battery compartment behind your seats?

I run Lithiums with a 25p tempest and its not the right prop. My holeshot is fine, but i am only getting 71-72 MPH. I want to try the 24 fury next.

seems like most are pretty happy with the 24 fury. Pretty lucky I don’t really have the need to do the prop swap game.
