Labor Day Weekend my son-in-law and grandson came up from Texas.
Grandson has new irons and rifled through all my used clubs to try out wedges, drivers, putters and fairway woods.
He played 72 holes on regular courses and 36 +/- on the lighted par 3 course.
I played 54 holes with him and passed on the nighttime golf under lights to try and get some rest.
I also got both of them a lesson each with our assistant pro.
He left with a driver, three wood, five wood, two wedges of mine and stopped in Oklahoma City to pick up a Taylor Made Mini Spider at Acadamey that was $75 off regular pricing which he located on line while they were driving home.
He is becoming a golf nut.
He has a lot of learning to do but he has a good swing and he improved greatly after his lesson Friday afternoon.
Now he needs to learn to score.
Fun to have a new golfer in the family and also fun to see the SIL playing a lot more with effort improved.
